We would like to start the 2008 season by thanking everyone that makes
it possible for AMRA to exist. Thank you to our sponsors, promoters,
staff and all the AMRA drivers and car owners.
AMRA has formed a competition advisory committee for 2008 and beyond.
The purpose of the committee is to act as the voice of the membership
of AMRA. They will also bring ideas that can enhance competition,
control cost of racing and to get results from tracks if the inspector
is not present. The committee members will not have any special
privileges at any sanctioned AMRA race track or event. If you have a
concern or ideas please speak with one of the committee members listed below.

We are working on finishing the 2008 RWT schedule and will have it
updated very soon. There will be a total of 15 RWT races this season.
We will also be helping at the Brushcreek Motorsports Complex on Aug 1
& 2 for the Heritage race. This will not be a RWT race, but you will
receive your weekly points, this race is Hoosier tire only race.
Again, we would like to stress that AMRA is not just a selected few in
numbers. You the drivers, owners, etc are AMRA and we need to work
together to keep and help build a stronger organization for the future.

Friday’s night race will be $1000 to win. Plus the highest finisher from Friday night that does not make it in the Heritage race will receive a provisional on Saturday night.
Free camping at the track. Any one camping (with a licensed camper) at the track and is there before 7PM on Friday will receive one free grandstand entry to Friday nights race.
There will be a free lunch at noon on Saturday at the track, everyone welcome. Lunch will be provided by Jesus Motorsports Outreach.
Items to remember: HOOSIER TIRES ONLY and there will be a 2 lap flat tire change in the A main only.
Anyone who purchases a ticket can be eligible to win a Harley Davidson 883 Sportster.
AMRA UMP AND IMCA WELCOME
Steel tube quick change rear ends will be allowed in AMRA competition for
the 2008 season.
